On April 18 and 19, 2026, the National Palace of Culture (NDK) will host the fifth edition of the National Science and Education Festival, “The Found Generation – The Return.” This event has established itself as one of Bulgaria’s most significant and large-scale platforms, bridging the gap between education, science, business, and society.
Organized by “Educational Factory” (Obrazovatelna Fabrika), the festival expands on the concept of education as a dynamic ecosystem—one where knowledge is not passively received but experienced, explored, and applied in real-world environments.
Over the course of two days, children, students, parents, teachers, business leaders, and representatives from academic and institutional circles will engage in various formats: exhibition spaces, interactive demonstrations, lectures, discussions, workshops, and networking sessions with leading experts.
The event brings together over 100 participants from diverse sectors to showcase innovative solutions, educational models, and practical approaches to learning. The primary focus is building a bridge between theory and practice, connecting young people to the professional world they are preparing to enter.
“The Found Generation” is a space where different generations meet, exchange experiences, and create new opportunities for growth.
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to meet our teachers and mentors and discover firsthand why over 400 students choose the Minu Balkanski Foundation’s summer schools every year.
Admission is free for all visitors, but pre-registration is required: https://bit.ly/science-festival-education-factory-2026
